Just a Headsup for anyone interested!
Alienware Arena is holding the "Survival of the Fittest tournament" for Left 4 Dead. It’s free to compete and you’ll have a chance at a $1,500 cash prize pool.
In the opening phase of the tournament up to 256 teams will compete in group play matches with up to 8 teams per group. The top team from each group, 32 groups in all, will advance to the double-elimination finals bracket.
The Survival of the Fittest Championship will feature the top 8 teams and will broadcast on the Alienware Arena site by the casters from PwnageTV. We promise there will be plenty of flesh destroying action!
All matches will be played 4-on-4 versus mode, using official maps and custom server plug-ins for match management. The Match Network Client will ensure fair game play and enable teams to reach each other at game time.
